Meet female BJJ athlete, white belt, full time other and PhD student, and Unstoppable Girl, Amanda Ward.

"I am Amanda, I am 31 years old and am a full time mother and PhD student studying agriculture. I started BJJ in 2014. I trained consistently until my husband and I were expecting our first baby. I love how BJJ challenges both your mental and physical abilities. When I'm on the mat I feel as though I'm giving my mind a break from the other everyday stresses. I hope more women give BJJ a chance. I'm thrilled I listened to my husband and took that first daunting step onto the mat!"
