On 11 May 2017 UKBJJA will unveil a range of commercial rights packages which will be available for sponsorship by brands or companies with an interest in sponsoring the UK’s fast growing martial art. This represents the UKBJJAs first ever major commercial drive to build the brand.

Newcastle based agency Msgworks has been appointed by the United Kingdom Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Association (UKBJJA) as their PR and marketing partner. The appointment comes at an important time for the UKBJJA as it moves towards formal Sport England recognition and launches an important new sponsorship drive.

The UK Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Association (UKBJJA) has strengthened its position as the national governing body for the sport of BJJ in the UK. Thanks to a formal request by the UKBJJA, an organisation set up by members of the British Judo Association in an attempt to claim jurisdiction over the sport has had to change its name from Brazilian Jiu Jitsu UK Association to the BJJ UK Council (BJJUKC).

Unstoppable Girl is the UKBJJA’s new major campaign called to get more women involved in the martial art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Unstoppable Girl involves national women only training events, social media, an education and fundraising campaign to get girls and women involved in the sport.
